EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT FOR SCHOOLS

Educators and facilitators’ roles are becoming very extensive and TIME is the factor. In their varied roles Educators and Facilitators are expected to develop programs across the curricula and be multi skilled in the classroom to cater for the needs of a multi cultural school clientèle.

Nybro Education Services can provide this service for educators and facilitators who are ‘too busy’ to accomplish these tasks.

• Develop Innovative programs to promote effective pedagogy in the classroom;
• Develop innovative lesson plans;
• Upskill in ESL Intervention strategies focussing on Literacy and Numeracy;
• Upskill schools in the Transition Process of Indigenous students from remote areas to metropolitan schools;
• Ascertain ESL learners for placement in journey groups in the Middle School and Vocational Educational Pathways or Tertiary Pathways in Senior School;
• Place ESL Students on the NLLIA Bandscales for funding purposes.

Fees: (Approximately) $60.00 per hour plus additional costs incurred in the development and delivery of the program (costs such as research, stationery, travel, fuel, postage, hire of equipment etc).

GRANT WRITING AND PERFORMANCE REPORTING

Many schools apply for Federal, State and other grants. This is a specialised area whereby the grant writer submits the application in response to specific guidelines and within a limited time frame. In the ‘business’ of the 21st century, schools often do not have the luxury of a specialist grant writer whose sole objective is to source funding. In the event of the grant being successful, there is the accountability factor and performance reporting to be monitored and completed.

• Set up databases for schools in terms of Literacy and Numeracy for State and Federal Funding Bodies;
• Submit initial NLLIA Bandscale levels for Indigenous and International Students for funding purposes;
• Report on individual student performance outcomes for funding purposes;
• Submit Educational Accountability Statements for Literacy Numeracy and Special Learning Needs;
• Submit other grants to various organisations for funding for Special Innovative Projects.

Fees: (Approximately) $60.00 per hour plus additional costs incurred in the sourcing of information before submission and the monitoring and accountability process.
